March Prayer Journal | Trust

For the month of March let’s focus our prayer time on these specific topics. Today’s topic is “Forgiveness “.

Dear Lord,

Forgive me for my sins. For the ones that I know that I am doing and consistently do, help me to repent and to not do them anymore. Forgive me for the sins that I commit and do not realize is a sin. Open my eyes and correct my steps, in Jesus name.

Lord, help me to forgive others. Your word tells me that if I do not forgive those who have sinned against me, that you would not forgive me.

Help me to forgive myself. Time after time after time I screw up and I miss the mark that I have set for myself. I know that your standards are the only standards that matter.

I pray for the person reading this today. Give them the strength to practice forgiveness as well. Heal their broken hearts. Wash them white as snow. Forgive them for their sins. Help them to repent and never do them again.

I pray that we would be great examples to our children and that we would live lifes before them in a way that is pleasing to you.

I ask that all these things be done according to your will.

In Jesus name.

Amen

Preparing To Pray Together

How many times have you heard that phrase, ” A couple that prays together, stays together,” ?  Probably more times than you can count! And if you’re like me, then well, you’re waiting for that day to be able to have someone that you can pray with. However, you first need to make sure that in your time of singleness that you are in fact praying!

It seems like a no-brainer. You’re a Christian woman, therefore praying should come naturally right?

Mama! Who are you foolin’ ?!

Praying requires time and it’s bad enough that as single-working mama, our time is pretty scares. So I get it! I get the Mama’s that say, “Hey! I don’t pray everyday because I don’t have time.” But my question to you then becomes, “Do you have time to be on Facebook? DO you have time to read this post? Do you have time to talk on the phone?” If you answered yes to any of those questions then you have time to pray!

It’s like, how are you going to ask God to send you a praying man, when you don’t even pray for yourself? God is not going to send you the kind of man that you are praying for until you are ready to receive him!

It’s the cold truth, but right now Mama, we are not ready to receive the man that God has for us. We are lacking in some area that if not corrected would be detrimental to the relationship that God wants to bless us with.

So take a minute to pray. Pray right now. Pray that while you are praying for your future husband, that God would make you into the wife that he would have of you to be.

Dear God

Dear God,

Today was alright, I got into my normal swing of things and then I had some down time that I wasn’t expecting to have. I thank you for it because it was during this moment that I made an effort to touch the lives of other single christian women. You know my heart and I pray that my efforts are not in vain. I thank you and I praise you.

In Jesus name, amen.
